    Great quality product
The SR-200 is the first Stihl product I have purchased. It's a exceptional piece of equipment. I'm sure I'll get many years of use out of it. The only issue I have with the machine is that it should come equipped with the optional pump installed. If you raise the nozzle anywhere near vertical the gravity flow of liquid quickly stops. This can be a problem when your attempting to get pesticides up into Arborvitae trees in your yard. My dealer advised the pump is on back order. I'm probably not ... read more the only person with this complaint. That issue aside I love the SR-200 and how much it has knocked down my mosquitoe population.

    Great Sprayer/blower
I'm a home owner with about 1.5 acres of property with lots of landscaping. I researched all the reviews I could find on blower/sprayers and landed on Stihl due to the product's features and readily available parts & service locations near me. I struggled with the decision to buy the SR450 or the SR200, (worried that the SR200 would not have enough power to handle my needs). In the end I bought the SR200 and am very happy I did. It has plenty of power for a residential homeowner's needs.

    Great Product!
I bought the SR-200 as everyone said the SR-420 was too big and too heavy when full. The SR200 is the perfect balance of price/power/weight. The straps are cheap but this thing starts on the 2nd pull every time and works great. I fog every 4-5 weeks and we don't see a bug in our yard. I live in a log cabin near the north Georgia mountains and we have 11 acres, adjacent to 230 acres of a state park. And we never see an insect all spring/summer. Couldn't be happier with this fogger/blower!

EXCELLENT PRODUCT, EASY TO USE, MUCH MORE FLEXIBILITY
After pulling over 300 feet of hose in the heat of summer with full PPE (respirator, long sleeves, long pants, heavy rubber gloves) I can only say it was a joy to use the Stihl. Yes the pack is a bit heavy when 1st loaded. After being a US Marine for 10 years, a pack s a pack. My suggestion would be perhaps dont fill so full if you can avoid it. I AM GOING TO PURCHASE A 2ND UNIT IN THE NEXT WEEK.

    Professional Pest Control
If you're using a regular backpack sprayer this is a serious upgrade. Pros: Great spray coverage, easy to opperate, reliable Cons: considering its for spraying pesticides/herbicide it's a little leaky at the nozzle and gasket that holds the tank, Heavy when full, desperately needs an electronic start like the regular 450 All in all it's a money maker

A little heavy, but does a great job.
I purchased this sprayer to apply mosquito insecticide. I am surrounded by large trees/woods and this sprayer was able to get the liquid up high where it needed to be. Once I learned how to control the amount of liquid and the rpm's things couldn't have gone better. For bushes/shrubs I found that less rpm's works best and doesn't damage the foliage. When needed the sprayer has the power to reach out a long way into the woods, I'd say about thirty feet or more. I am going to order the optional ... read more hip belt to help make things a little more secure. Great product. I have three Stihl chainsaws and now this sprayer, love Stihl.

    Does the trick.for me
I bought the SR 430 to spray my apple trees. It works great for the purpose which I intend. Yes it's heavy, yet it's manageable once on your back. There's no way to get around the weight. It's going to be heavy. On the positive side it works so well I do my trees in half the time. I have thought of putting it in a cart or on one of my ATV's Anyhow I'm please with it. I wanted serious tool, not some piece of junk to spray trees which many retailers seem to be selling for hundreds of dollars. This ... read more machine can also be used as a leaf blower in the fall. The way I look at it you get two tools in one. Oh and by the way my local Stilhl dealer was great. Stihl isn't inexpensive but you get what you pay for. I own other Stihl products and have been happy with them also.

Changed the way I operate my farm business.
I've been struggling to find a cost effective way to spray pumpkins after the patch gets thick and the 4-wheeler with an electric sprayer can't get through it. I've been using back pack and small hand pump sprayers. The time it takes me to spray has improved from about 1 linear foot per 5 seconds to better than 1 linear foot per second. It used to take a full 10+ hours of labor to spray an acre and now it takes about an hour and 45 minutes. It also does a much better job. It mists better and ... read more turns the leaves over to help fight downy mildew. I found it to be light weight and plenty powerful. I rarely use more than half throttle. Works good on my small vineyard of 600 vines too. Southwest Virginia Farmer

ok i ran 6 of these all summer
they do ok, but when it gets hot, the have issues starting even when running all day. Vapor lock i suspect is the issue. They are a bit particular with the blend of fuel, we were very careful to use 91 octane, no ethanol gas and mixed it ourselves as close to perfect as possible. Never broke, just running issues, had to rebuild carbs a few times but they ran 50 plus hours a week easy. these could use a much better designs backpack pad, larger as in wider thicker shoulder pads, and a hip belt, ... read more padded would be good as well. 8 to 10 hours a day up and down hills ect it wears on you. a padded hip belt would seriously help along with a better pad design.
